今週唐突にManaGrind公式Twitterを通じてトーナメント開催の終了が告知されました。今後どのような展開を行うかは不明ですが、クローズドβ最初期からの海外オンライントーナメントであるManaGrindが新しく生まれ変わるための変化となるようです。

そしてそして、ManaGrind's Friday Night Swiss #23において有終の美を飾ったのは日本人プレイヤー、barusa選手でした。おめでとうございます。

barusa選手といえばFPSジャンルの複数タイトルで日本のトッププレイヤーとして活躍していたことがよく知られていますが、過去には遊戯王のようなカードゲームも嗜んでおりHearthstoneでもさっそく頭角をあらわしています。
秋葉原e-sports Squareで開催された日本初のオフライントーナメントで優勝したことも記憶に新しいですね。
